Green Education Week in Our Community!

Sage Hill Collaborative is planning several community-based events for "Green Education Week," April 18-22.

EARTH FAIR
We will host our third annual Earth Fair at a local library. Students are invited to create projects and displays with an ecological or environmental theme to educate and inspire the public. The emphasis is for kids to learn more about an element in the natural world that they care deeply about--an animal, an ecosystem, a local park--and inspire others to care about and care for this natural element too. In the past we've had posters (recycled of course), dioramas, DVDs, crafts, and more.

FAMILY HIKE
We'll enjoy together our local environmental treasure, the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve. We'll hike the Granite Loop trail with a Reserve Ranger and learn about the history and ecology of this special place.

EARTH DAY FESTIVAL
Celebrate Earth Day with nature art, recycled crafts, recycled car rally, music, yoga, and cooperative games in the park.
